First time here? Consider to see more about me
Who I help
I work with backend engineers who want to grow faster than their current environment allows, and with career switchers aiming to break into software development who need a clear, honest roadmap instead of scattered advice. If you’re at a point where you know the fundamentals but feel stuck on “what do I actually do next?”, that’s exactly the conversation I’m here for. I’ve been designing and building end-to-end web solutions since 2011, and I’ve seen firsthand which habits and decisions separate engineers who plateau from those who keep levelling up.
What problems I solve
Most of my mentoring sessions fall into three buckets: system design interview preparation — helping you structure your thinking and communicate trade-offs clearly under pressure; backend project and code review — a fresh, senior set of eyes on your architecture, data model, or that design decision you’ve been second-guessing; and promotion and technical career path planning — figuring out what “senior” or “staff” actually looks like at your company and building a concrete plan to get there. If your challenge doesn’t fit neatly into one of these, book a session anyway — the first few minutes are about diagnosing whether I’m the right person to help.
How it works
Every session is a 60-minute 1-on-1 video call. Before we meet, you’ll fill out a short pre-session questionnaire so I can review your context — your goals, your current blockers, and any code or documents you want me to look at — and come prepared rather than starting from zero. After the call, you’ll receive a written summary with concrete action items and recommended resources, so the value doesn’t end when the video call does. My goal isn’t to give you generic advice — it’s to leave you with a clear next step you can act on the same week.
